How to travel the Maldives in under 30k

Yes, you can travel the Maldives in spending less than 30k per person and you can plan it on your own you do not need a travel agent or anything for that.

I know this is surprising but do you want to know how is it even possible?

I have all the answers you probably have in this blog and if you have any other you can post them in the comment section and I will make sure to cater to them all.

I will be putting all the steps for traveling from India/other countries  to the Maldives

1- First thing that comes to mind before traveling to any country is Visa and a piece of good news for all Indian citizens is that the VISA is on arrival and free of cost.

2- Flight from XYZ destination to the Maldives from India round or you can call it to return airfare from any International airport cost around 15k to 20k INR

for flight and Visa and covid 19 guidelines, you can access-

3- Transport is the most important part of the Maldives as there are no roadways travel or a taxi, bus, cab available but there is the availability of speed boat and the domestic flights and other expensive ways but as here we are trying to make it cost-effective than you can take the public ferry which usually cost around $2.00 to $5.00 one way to the nearest Islands and public Islands like Mafushi.

4- Accommodation or we can call it to stay in the Maldives it is a myth that we believe only high-end resorts are available in the Maldives but the truth is that you can find a good beachfront hotel in the Mafushi Island or any local Island which will cost you around 3000 INR per night to 5000 INR per night scroll the page to view some hotel images -

5- Excursions/Activities you can do in the Maldives there are many but you can choose them as per your budget and choice

  • Snorkeling
  • Parasailing
  • Island hopping
  • Glittering Island visit
  • Horse riding
  • Canoeing
  • One day resort visit
  • Fishing
  • Turtle watch
  • Visit sandbank
  • Paragliding
  • Underwater restaurant
  • Male city tour

  • Movie watch on the Island
  • Romantic dinners/breakfast
Just enjoy the day on the Island beach and live at the moment my fav one :)

There are many more like these you ask I will add another article just on excursions and activities that can be done in the Maldives.

6- The food most important thing to survive so there are many options for meals in local Islands you can grab a one-time meal for $5.00 to $10.00 depending upon your meal preference.

Also, you can make sure that you take a hotel in half board breakfast and dinner included in this way you will be able to save more and stay more.

That's all for the 30k Maldives plan if you have any query just drop a comment and if you like this blog please subscribe and share it with your friends.
